METS ~ Marine Equipment Trade Show

Amsterdam Rai Center, Netherlands - November 14th-16th, 2017 - Booth location:  Super Yacht Pavilion #10.518   & the Global Superyacht Forum from November 13th – 16th.

It’s no secret that Palladium has a passion for technology. This year they have targeted their efforts to a yacht’s “learning” potential. We all have smart gadgets that enhance our daily activities. Why not on a yacht?

Palladium, a total solutions based company, offers SiMON X the Alarm, Monitoring and Control system, with  more sophisticated alarm processing, setting the stage for routines based on AI Mchine Learning, making SiMON X an intelligent critical core system for the super yachts.

SiMON X screenThe glass bridge display showcases our SiMON X which provides one common, and ergonomically engineered, user-interface, delivering instrumentation and functionality, on clean multi-touch glass panels. The panels are positioned in the more traditional vertical format, along with one horizontal rectangular glass panel (multiple LCDs bonded from below), that replaces all of the switches and indicators on the helm surface.

Palladium will also be introducing their new  jArVis Entertainment and Concierge System at this show.  The UI interfaces are designed on the Crestron control structure and are simple to use without loosing the elegance expected on the yachts of today.  The concierge system is a  ”digital butler” which utilizes the same touch panels of the entertainment system.  The user simply chooses one of the icons such as: drinks, food, steward, medical, security, etc. whereby a message is then directed to the ideal crew members touch screen, or iPhone/watch who can complete the request.

Cyber-security and OnCam 360 cameras will also be on display at this years booth. Palladium is also well known for its IT Networking, CCTV Security, Cabin and Lighting control and Electrical services to name a few.

No boats are included in this show but manufacturers travel from all over the world to participate in this very productive show. It runs in conjunction with the Global Yacht Forum, of which Palladium is a sponsor this year, and is hosted by The Yacht Report magazine. The Forum presents issues and concerns from the industry leaders of the megayacht world.
